THIS IS A PHYSICAL SEWING PATTERN of my quilted witch hat pattern! you can use this pattern for a non-quilted witch hat as well, with regular sewing fabrics.

if you are not familiar with my patterns, I make them very easy to understand so they are perfect for all skill levels (especially the beginner!). the instructions are written onto the pattern, so you'll never lose or forget them. it's also printed on good sturdy paper, so you can use it time and time again.
YOU DO NOT NEED A SERGER FOR THIS PATTERN. zig-zag stitching or pinking sheers is fine.
You will need:
*one yard of quilt or your material of choice
*one yard of cotton lining (optional)
*2 yards of medium weight iron-on interfacing
*quilt basting spray (or any spray adhesive of your choice)
*heavy duty sewing needle
This is a standard size coming out to a 22 inch headband when done.
To make the hat larger (23-24" headband): sew the brim on at 1/4th inch
To make the hat smaller (20-21" headband): sew brim on at 1 inch.
